New Range of Mortgages

The Yorkshire Building Society has a new range of fixed rate mortgages with the cut being bigger for borrowers with larger deposits.

The product is for two, three, five and ten year fixed rate deals with a rate of 5.99%, a £999 arrangement fee and up to 75% loan to value.

The needing 95% loan to value can have a rate of 5.69% fixed the same periods with a fee of £999.

Clients wishing to have a deal with no fees can have a product with a 6.39% rate over two three or five years including 0.5% cash back for house purchases or free valuation and legal services for re-mortgages. A long-term fixed rate of ten years comes with a rate of 6.29%.

95% loan to value can be obtained with 0.5% cash back for home purchases or free valuation and legal services.

The majority of their customers have deposits over 25% of property value so these deals will appeal to many borrowers.
